There are currently a couple local classifieds sites, but none match the quality and reliability of Lamudi.
Going live with 250 properties, Lamudi Tanzania aims at signing up as many properties as possible by early 2014.
Launched this year, Lamudi is present in over in 12 countries including Algeria, Kenya, Morocco, Nigeria, Tunisia and Uganda. Out of Africa, the portal is now live in Mexico, Myanmar, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Colombia .
The portal iams to be the go-to marketplace for property sellers, buyers, landlords and renters to be the ideal platform to find homes, land and commercial property online. Previously, Lamudi was called Vamido in Africa, Ubilista in Latin America, Zamudi and House in Asia.
