iphone_6Apple said it has sold over 10 million new iPhone® 6 and iPhone 6 Plus models, a new record, just three days after the launch on September 19.

This sales were made in the US, Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, Puerto Rico, Singapore and the UK and the firm is shipping them to 20 additional countries by Friday.

A few retailers in South Africa, Konga in Nigeria and Bidorbuy in Kenya have the iPhone 6 up for sale even when Apple has not said anything about their availability in Africa. Many were dissapointed when the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus were launched due to the phone’s huge display screens and NFC capabilities which have been available on models from other manufacturers already.
