Nigeria’s job site MyJobMag launches in Kenya

Founded by Ogugua Belonwu, Nigeria’s MyJobMag, has launched in Kenya as MyJobMag.co.ke to make job hunting as simple as possible, a task that can be daunting especially when you do not have the right tools.

According to Belonwu, the right tool every jobseeker needs is a great career website with excellent user experience, timely content, and good search options.

MyJobMag.co.ke has launched in Kenya to provide the best job services to Kenyans. MyJobMag’s easy website navigation, has an optimized job search and filter, has job tips to help users better prepare for jobs and a CV builder to assist fresh graduates build and download their first CVs and apply for jobs easily,” he said.

”We conducted a survey on the bottlenecks jobseekers experience while using job websites. From the survey, 67% of respondents complained of job search clutter and noise with blood draining size. Based on these results, we tailored an excellent job search experience,” added Belonwu.

Employers are not left out as they can recruit on MyJobMag. To ensure that every employer is carried along, the site says it provides free job placement for employers needing basic features on MyJobMag.

Employers also have an easy candidate filtering based on several criteria, download applications and applicant profiles, send invitations to candidates in a completely automated recruitment processes.

Currently, the firm is working on a number of new features and services to boost MyJobMag.co.ke  to take on firms such as BrighterMonday, CareerPoint, Fuzu, DumaWorks and the rest.
