Palmfront is Helping Couples Create Wedding Catalogues

For people getting married, they can now create their wedding catalogues online with Palmfront.

The platform was launched by Oyetayo Oyewolu and Dieji Onatunde, Palmfront on August 1, 2015, and according to them, it was inspired by the drive to spice up and modernise weddings in Nigeria by filling the lack of wedding cataloguing and gift registry creation.

The platform integrates social media networking and eCommerce , allowing couples tell their love stories, create gift registries, send e-invitations to guests and create online wedding albums.

To meet all their wedding needs, from photography, to catering, MCs and decorators, couples can also get the services of vendors via the platform, shop for wedding attires, engagement and wedding rings, etc. Vendors on their part, can also register on the platform to get jobs from couples organising their weddings.

For  guests, the shop also contains a range of gifts ideas they can select from and buy. They can also visit the gift registry to make purchase or give cash contributions.

In addition to these, Palmfront promises to deliver all gift items purchased to the couple free of charge, after the wedding.

Palmfront’s idea is highly laudable, and given the fact that it’s an uncharted area with no real competition, it’ll set the pace for new tech solutions in the wedding industry.
