Smart Cab Joins the Ride-Hailing Industry, Enables Nigerians to Order Cab Services

The Nigerian ride-hailing industry has in a short time witnessed significant growth. From Uber, to Taxify, GoMyWay, Jekalo and a few others, Nigerians are loving and embracing the idea of  being able to order for cab services.

Now, say hello to the newsest ride-sharing app in Nigeria – Smart Cab.

Launched on the 28th of February 2017 by Arogundade Jubril, Smart Cab is set to take its market share from the growing industry. Like other ride-sharing apps, Smart Cab allows one to order cab services online as well as track these cab requests.

Available on both iOS and Android, Smart Cab tries to set itself apart with some unique feature, including, allowing riders choose their preferred ride and drivers, right from the app; and the promise of free WiFi on board.

What’s more fascinating, and might likely be a smart strategy to win the hearts of Nigerians is the 2% residual income offered to riders on every other rider they refer.

Although, its operations are based in Lagos, the app also boasts of availability in a few other Nigerian states.

The industry can be said to be a little big now, with giant competitors. For new entrants like Smart Cab to survive the heat, what is needed in this game is constant innovation.
