StaffBus.ng Launches to Provide Lagosians with Bus Rides to and from Work

Commuting in Lagos is one activity many Lagosians do not look forward to. From the traffic to boarding public buses, it’s really stressful. This is worse in the mornings and evenings, and for commuters trying to get to work or back home, many times they are all stressed out before arriving their destinations.

All these, couples with the fact that a number of employers do not provide staff buses to make the trip of their employees less stressful, Staffbus.ng was launched to address this challenge.

The platform is a public commuter network service aimed at providing an easy, convenient and reasonably charged means of commuting via clean, comfortable and road worthy buses.

Through its mobile app available on Google Playstore, users sign up/login, create their personal profiles, browse and choose their preferred route and schedule and the select subscription or ride plan, book selected ride plan and make payments.

Ride plans include Staffbus Lite for individuals and Staffbus Luxe for companies. Staffbus.ng also allows individuals to sign up as drivers on the platform, and offer bus rides to Lagos workers.

According to the founder, “the problem our service aims to tackle are the hassles it takes for workers to commute daily to and from work, traffic congestion and air pollution caused by carbon emission. Our service provides for our users a network of clean, comfortable buses and well trained drivers and staff as well as technology. No more dilapidated buses or waiting in lines, no more hassles getting to work or driving through traffic. Every ride feels like an upgrade to the existing means of transportation.”

With big competitors like Uber and Taxify, Staffbus.ng offering bus rides can stand make it stand out, but we’ll love to see how the platform intends to create a name for itself in the nearest future.
