SA’s Telkom Business has partnered with Samsung SA to give its senior management and staff each a Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet, showing just how significant mobile technology is becoming in business.
Samsung South Africa said it the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet it will supply the firm’s staff around the country to serve as an operational communication device within the enterprise.
Craige Fleischer, Director of Mobile Communications at Samsung South Africa said in a statement, “We are pleased that Telkom Business has chosen the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 as it continues to substantiate the unique value proposition that Samsung is able to provide within the enterprise mobility space – through our product innovation and unique offering. According to the firm, the tablet has an intuitive user experience with the functionality and precision of a pen and paper on a 10.1-inch large display. The tablet also has a 1.4GHz quad-core processer and 2GB RAM which enhances its performance and allows faster multi-tasking easier and faster.
Fleischer added that in this digital age tablets are the ideal solution for business connectivity whether in the field, in a meeting or traveling.
Telkom SA has this week been in the news over its CEO’s notice to quit and few days after the resignation of it director. Sources close to the firm are citing governement control which angered its management earlier ths year by blocking a 20 percent stake sale to South Korea’s KT Corp.
