Sunglasses Nigeria is an online retailer for sunglasses and contact lenses and probably the biggest on the continent.
Launched just a month ago by former Sambuta CEO Leonard Stiegeler, Sunglasses.com.ng claims to be the largest online store for glasses, prescription lenses and sunglasses in the country.
Steigler left Rocket Internet’s SA fashion portal Zando to manage Sabunta also owned by the Samwer Brothers but quit in July to found Startup Partners Africa, an African market focused Internet incubator.
According to their site, Sunglasses.com.ng has an impressive range of original designer brands to protect eyes, make us look stylish, feel good and have fun in the summer sun.

Sunglasses.com.ng also promises to save clients time and effort with its free door-to-door delivery with 14 day returns.
Buyers can pay online via EFT, or credit card but the firm says it prides in Cash on Delivery service where by clients pay in cash the moment their orders are delivered to them.
To make online purchase safe, the firm sends shoppers an email about the current status of their order followed by a unique tracking number to use as they follow up their order until delivery.
Sunglasses.com.ng gives its customers free shipping. Delivery takes between 5-10 working days, depending on the clients location in Nigeria .The firm also replaces any purchase in case the customer doesn’t like it or the colour is wrong.
At the moment Sunglasses has stock from top designers like Ray-Ban, Prada, Gucci and Oakley, amongst others for both men and women and children.
