According to reports Samsung is set to launch an Apple like wrist-watch phone able to perform anything a smartphone can do and bringing competition to Apple’s planned one too.
The Reuters news agency quoting a source with direct knowledge of the matter said though the Samsung device will work just as a smartphone, it did not have specific details at the time of press.
Media reports have claimed Apple’s wrist-watch smartphone would be out soon though details are scanty to the public.
Samsung’s wrist-watch smartphone will heighten competition among the two firms even harder with patent cases still in courts of law.
Lee Young Hee, executive VP of Samsung’s mobile business speaking to Bloomberg said:“We’ve been preparing the watch product for so long, we are working very hard to get ready for it. We are preparing products for the future, and the watch is definitely one of them.”
Now victory might go to whoever launches first and depending on price as Apple’s iWatch will also perform same tasks a smartphone can tackle or some f the plans handled by the iPhone and iPad.
Definitely the smart-watches will make calls, check mail, give users ability to listen to music and navigate and several other sensors and apps related to health, business and fitness. Bloomberg reported that Apple might introduce its iWatch by end of this year.
