Mobile Web West Africa 2013 is scheduled for May 7 to 10 with expectations of surpassing previous editions and firmly establishing Mobile Web West Africa as the leading mobile event in the region.
Just fresh from a successful Mobile Web East Africa conference in Nairobi and SXSW in Austin Texas, Matthew Dawes, Managing Director All Amber, the organisation behind the mobile web events said, “We’ve extended the event to 4 days this year. The main conference is on May 8 and May 9. May 7 is the Mobile Marketing West Africa Focus Day and May 10 is a special “invite only” App Developer Day hosted by Qualcomm.
Among the speakers on the list include Vytautas Paukstys is co-founder and CEO of Eskimi, a mobile-first social network that has grown from zero to 10 million registered customers in less than 24 months. Eskimi became one of the biggest social media products in Nigeria. Felix Erken, MD and Co-owner of Junk Mail, the largest local classifieds exchange in South Africa. André de Wet GM Pricecheck, Nkiru Asika CEO Enterprise Creative, Vincent Maher Vice President of Growth and Product Strategy at mobile social network Mxit, Elo Ume CEO Twinepine and Saidah Nash Carter VP, Strategy and Business Innovation, Thomson Reuters and Lanre Akinlagun, Head of Marketing & Analytics,IROKO Partners among others.
The event wants to discuss monetisation and content creation to the next level.
MWWA2013 will be held at the Four Points on Victoria Island and the firm has also launched a slick new website as a one information resource on the conference.

Dawes says Mobile Web West Africa is going to be big and better and is already excited about it.
