GIST Startup Boot Camp is calling all entrepreneur with whatever business idea stuck on raising on raising funds from banks or friends or family or VC’s or failing to sell their products.
The GIST initiative says it has helped entrepreneurs in over 40 countries across the Middle East, Turkey, Asia and Africa by identifying, coaching, and funding the most promising technology entrepreneurs via competitions, start-up acceleration, online social media platform and interactive mentorship programs.
GIST added that it forges partnerships, locally and globally, among technology entrepreneurs, angel investors, mentors and experts, to foster human progress and prosperity.
During the Startup Bootcamp in Tanzania GIST wants to teach entrepreneurs to write a business plan, take hard look at your financial needs and prospects, and pitch your idea and venture to friends and potential partners, clients, customers and investors. The boot camp also offers a chance to address the shortcomings in your idea and develop answers to the tough questions you may have about moving forward with your venture.
With over 470 ventures mentored by GIST , the GIST Startup Boot Camp will give participating entrepreneurs with the tools, strategies, and confidence needed in order to assess, determine feasibility of, and launch their businesses.
The boot camp will gather tech entrepreneurs, experienced entrepreneurs, governmental officials, representatives from non-profit representatives and local angel investors in order to catalyze the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
Anyone can apply to the GIST Startup Boot Camp as long as they have high potential tech entrepreneurship ideas or run a 5 year or less startup in ICT, Agriculture, Energy and Healthcare. Registration can be done here.
