LG Electronics has partnered with Metro PLC to launch a mobile after-sales service center in Ethiopia investing over2 million birr on the repair service.
Uisng the “Care and Delight” bus the Mobile repair center will take free electronics repair to LG customers free of charge.
According to Riyadh Yusuf, Marketing Manager of Metro Plc, during the launch held Wednesday, “LG has always placed customer satisfaction at the core of its initiatives.”
LG and Metro PLC will equip the bus with a work station for technicians, power it with an LG solar cell battery system installed on the roof.
Abdullahi Abubaker, Owner of Metro PLC added the partnership will also help grow the LG brand in the country as the branded “Care and Delight” bus will be moving around in Addis Ababa and later countrywide to take services to the people.
but the two companies stated that in the near future they will be investing in other buses that will be dispatched throughout Ethiopia to extend services to its customers in remote parts of Ethiopia.
Metro Plc is an electronic shop in Ethiopia and together with LG the two firms run over 15 shops together in the city.
