Neil Schwartzman, the former CEO Of MIH Internet South Africa is now CEO at Spinlet, a music distribution platform for Africa.
Neil’s responsibility will be on digital content distribution across Africa. Before his 10 year gig with South Africa’s Naspers, Neil Schwartzman, born in Winnipeg, Canada, studied Computer Sciences at the University of Manitoba and founded his own internet company in 1995 which he later sold in 2002.
He moved to South Africa and began working at the Naspers Group till early this year.
Neil was the CEO of MIH Internet Sub-Saharan Africa which comprises of Mocality.com, an online business directory in Kenya and Nigeria which shut down February 28 this year. Before his helm as CEO of MIH Internet Sub-Saharan Africa he was was the GM of Dealfish, an online classifieds site in Sub-Saharan Africa which was transferred to OLX.
