Hipingg, a Nigerian photo sharing service today released a beta version of the Photo Collage, a layout design made to improve the creativity of our users and give them the ability to share to their friends on Facebook, Twitter, through Emails and SMS.
The New Photo Collage feature is a design layout that makes it possible to upload multiple pictures into a photo at the same time. This is a new idea we are launching to inspire creativity in our users, we don’t just want them to upload photos but to actually create something out of there photos and share to their friends on other social networking platform.
Prudence Okoilu, founder Hipingg said, “Photo collage is a way of visually communicating with two or more photos with your friends. Different photos at different moments, each having a message of its own making it fun to pass a message across to the viewer.”
The collage will make the photo sharing platform stand out. Okoilu added, “Instagram did it with Filters, Hipingg is doing it with Collages.”‘
The platform the founder says is built for photographers, artists, creators and designers by giving them the opportunity to explore and experiment with their photos in the photo collage layout and share. The Hipingg founder says the platform is built to make photos beautiful, allow sharing on multiple social networks and allow quick uploads.
Users can also search through the latest photos of people they follow with updates as people post new photos. They can also rate photos by clicking the stars on them, share to friends and engage in a conversation around a photo with inline commenting.
With over 25,000 registered members and popular in the Nigeria, Ghana, South Africa, Kenya, United States, and the United Kingdom, the founder says work is yet to begin.
“We’re still working to improve the service every day. We have some great ideas up our sleeves to make people connected through photo sharing. Plus a mobile version is in its final stage and is yet to be released, ” Okoilu said. ” The new photo collage feature is one of many ideas the team has been working on and we’ve started seeing users creating beautiful photo collages already.
