Eventiso, an online ticketing, registration and event automation startup company in Nigeria founded by Samson Aligba has launched a ticket button to be used by event managers in a move to help them manage events and take their events viral.
Aligba says the ticket button will make life simpler for the event managers as it will allow them to sell their tickets to anyone anywhere as long as they are online. The ticket button can also be embedded on any website or blog.
He announced, “A really simple way to empower other people to help you sell more tickets (or as we say, make your event go viral). We have been busy making it possible for your event ticket to be sold anywhere online apart from just your website.”
He added that unlike in the former days where one would send out a press release to all the blogs, then tweet about the event, post to Facebook, then visit a number of eatries to get help selling the tickets Eventiso wants to make it simple.
” One only has to setup a branded website, enter their Facebook and Twitter IDs, send out their press release to blogs along with the ticket button,” he said.
The service is simple to use:
1. Go to
eventiso.com to create your first event but if you already have an event,
login and click on the create ticket button on your event preview box.2. Enter the details for your ticket and click the create button3. With your ticket created, go back to your dashboard (eventiso.com/dashboard) and click on the tickets tab4. on the tickets panel, click on the embed button for the ticket you want to embed, title your embed button and choose button size
5. copy the embed code and paste it on your website/blog, you can share this code with other bloggers so they help host your ticket pay button
According to Eventiso, one’s website or blog must support iframes in order to embed tickets and forms. He adds that embedding tickets on other websites or blogs can help drive sales and also make it easy for one to track each ticket sold from the Eventiso dashboard.
