Chairman for Zantel and Chief Regional Officer-Africa Etisalat Group, Mr. Essa AlHaddad has reaffirmed his company’s commitment to invest further to Zantel Tanzania, the move aimed to support massive growth and expansion of the company’s operations in the country.
Addressing journalists at Zantel headquarters yesterday, Mr. AlHaddad said partnership with Zantel has been very fruitful, as it has seen Zantel growing fast over the last five years in terms of bringing the most advanced, exciting products and services.
‘Zantel has been able to revolutionize mobile communication in Tanzania by introducing various innovative platforms which have improved Tanzanian lives tremendously’ said AlHaddad.
Mr Haddad further added on how Zantel benefits directly from being part of one the world’s largest mobile communities, by being placed at the forefront of developments that are expected to change the face of the world’s communications landscape.
‘Our experience speaks for itself- we have successfully built operations in many fast-growing countries as we have the financial and operational capabilities to deliver all commitments’ said Mr. Haddad.
Mr AlHaddad also said Etisalat will help Zantel reinforce their leadership in broadband and customer experience, thus giving Zantel customers unique experience.
‘Our company has won various awards on innovative platforms such as Mobile Baby, and this year for instance, we have launched Phone Doctor services, Z-Kilimo and we have had various new exciting partnership such as Huawei and Barcelona Football Club’ insisted AlHaddad.
As part of their partnership with Barcelona Football Club, Zantel Chairman said Etisalat is exploring the idea of conducting football-training camp for youth, a move that will contribute to the development of sports in Tanzania.
On his side, Zantel Chief Executive Officer, Pratap Ghose commended Etisalat for being true partners-and helping Zantel lead the market with the most innovative services.
