The SmartCamps enable startups to take advantage of mentoring opportunities, learn from thought leaders, and network with serial entrepreneurs, investment firms, academic institutions, and industry and technology experts. SmartCamps give selected startups the opportunity to connect with the venture community.”
There are Local SmartCamps where selected startups pitch their company’s value propositions. The winner heads to the Regional SmartCamp where winners from various local SmartCamps compete. One regional winner heads to the Global Finals to compete for the title of IBM Global Entrepreneur of the Year which Kenya’s MoDe, a microcredit facility firm won February 2013.

Apart from the My Order Enterprise solutions, Weza Tele, runs a retail service dubbed MyOrder.co.ke, that allows users to real time mobile ordering platform from retailers and restaurants. Weza Tele is set to launch Duka Tele, online shops for retail stores to allow them to sell their stuff online without having eCommerce enabled sites or worrying about delivery.
