Laudable is a new online shopping platform to go live in South Africa. Co-founded by Ian Marvin and Haydn Von Maltitz, Laudable is English for praise.
The e-shopping fashion aggregator lists products from tons of local retailers such as ZANDO, Woolworths and Style36 that are trending and worth praise.
The platform also lets users track offers them and their friends are interested in on social media making it easy for anyone to find their favourite products online and at one place instead of moving from site to site.
The team says the online fashion shopping product aggregator is for those who want to discover and share cool products and deals to or from their social network.
Users need not go to every fashion portal to buy their products as Laudable brings them all in one place, indicating the fashion products and their prices.
“You’ll be able to discover the best products most relevant to you on one single site. Don’t trawl the internet looking for cool stores and products, simply log on to laudable and find the best stuff as curated by your social network instead,” they say.
With over 70 stores on the site, Laudable has 1095 products and 1866 lauds.
The founders want users to use the platform, start discovering socially curated products and deals, create and share collections of cool stuff or just find out whats hot.
“You’ll also start receiving deals and offers for products that you actually like, not what somebody else wants to sell you. We want to connect you to products that are relevant right now,” the say on their platform.
