Gilad Peleg, co-founder of the Tel Aviv-based Onefeed.me  told TechMoran, “Our inspiration and goal is to create the ultimate dashboard for the cloud era. In many ways, the browser is replacing the operating system, which is why we feel there is a need for a new type of desktop. We have so many different services and content sources these days, there has to be a better way to access everything from one place.”

“We believe that the time of the old desktop has come and passed, and as only expected, we are offering something new to replace it.You are now in complete charge of your surfing experience,” added Peleg.

Peleg says Onefeed’s position as the new tab page makes it much more attractive because it brings all the user content and services to them, as they surf – on the go.” As we take over the new tab page, we make sure to enhance it, making it your desktop on the cloud,” he said.

The early stage funded startup is currently compatible with Chrome, and is available here  or can be downloaded from the Chrome Web Store. Below is a tell-all video about Onefeed.
