George Mudhune, LG Electronics Africa Logistics FZE’s Head of ISM and Channel Strategy has been listed by the World Marketing Summit 2013 as one of the top 50 most talented marketing professionals in the world.
Mudhune received the award during the just-concluded World Marketing Summit in Malaysia which brought together some of the most innovative minds to showcase how corporations can use marketing and best practices to contribute to the 8 Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) and profit from it.
The World Marketing Summit is an initiative driven by Prof. Dr. Philip Kotler, a distinguished professor of International Marketing at the North-western University Kellogg Graduate School of Management in Chicago.
The listing of the world’s top 50 most talented marketers goes through a rigorous selection process based on strategic perspective & business goal management, business ethics & compliance, team orientation & people management, customer focus & networking as well as performance management & mentoring excellence.
Speaking after receiving the award Mudhune said customer centralization of marketing is very important and urged organizations to put consumer mind set at the centre of marketing decision making. “I am extremely humbled to be on the world listing” he said.
