intel-WallpaperIntel Corp has launched its new 4th generation Intel® Core™ series of processors in Kenya in a move to raise the bar on user experience by providing consumers with devices that meet the ever-changing needs from communicating, to gaming, and  most of all increased battery life.

Launched at Demo Thursday, the 4th generation Intel Core processors promise biggest power savings with over 9 hours of battery life, stunning performance and two times the graphics capability. They also serve as a foundation to a new wave of 2-in-1s that will combine stunning PC performance with tablet-like mobility in one device and deliver on the Ultrabook™ vision.

Speaking at the event, Chris Mwangi, Intel East Africa’s Field Applications Engineer said: ” With the 4th generation Intel Core processors, devices will boast huge extensions in battery life that will take consumers all the way through a busy day for as long as nine hours without the need to charge them. Furthermore, with the new 2-in-1 devices, it will allow them to switch between keyboard and touch screen depending on what the activity. ”

For the avid gamers and gamer community, the 4th generation Intel Core processors will also have built-in graphics that will deliver discrete-level performance. Offered on select versions of the new Intel Core processors, Intel® Iris™ graphics will bring the Ultrabook and other mobile PCs to life with built-in, eye-popping visual experiences.

Select Ultrabooks powered by 4th generation Intel Core processors will deliver the Intel performance people expect combined with the mobility and responsiveness of a tablet, making them the premium, ultra-versatile 2-in-1 devices. With touch capability and a keyboard, the system adapts to the user and also offers full application compatibility.

Furthermore, 2-in-1 and other Intel-based devices will showcase enhanced progress in bringing human like senses through the addition of touch, voice and facial recognition and other technologies. Called perceptual computing, these technologies will take advantage of Intel processing power to make interaction with devices natural, intuitive and immersive.
