South Africa’s office automation systems and solutions firm Nashua Holdings (Pty) Ltd has acquired a 60% stake in Prodoc Svenska AB, a Swedish office automation, document solutions and workflow provider.
The deal opens new doors for Nashua to roll out its cutting-edge managed document solutions in a market it would take much to launch and dominate. Nashua’s acquisition of the 1976 established Prodoc, also gives Nashua chance to use its expertise in franchising and its asset financing model to bolster further expansion.
“Prodoc has a strong management team with a proven track record,” said Dave Rawlinson, CEO of Reunert Limited, Nashua’s holding company. “This partnership will not only provide us with access to innovative document workflow systems, but could also provide an ideal base to expand into other Nordic countries.”
