Orange Kenya Launches Loyalty Programme for its Virtual Airtime Retailers

orangeTelecommunications service provider in Kenya, Orange has launched a loyalty programme for its electronic top-up service for its retailers.

Dubbed “e-jaze zaidi programme” targets e-jaze retailers e-jaze which is a pin less electronic top up system which was launched in November to increase the access of the company’s airtime.
E-jaze supports all prepaid customers orange money, orange wireless, Telkom fixed and data.
Mickael Ghossein orange company CEO said they are supplementing the conventional airtime distribution with a more convenient and beneficial way such as online payments and electronic airtime distribution.
He added that the launch of e-jaze increases their chances at airtime penetration and sales.
The e-jaze program has followed the footsteps of its other programme zaidi customer loyalty program where an orange mobile customer can redeem their points in exchange for mobile devices and any other available products and services on offer.
Orange in collaboration with R&R one of Kenya’s largest loyalty programme developers to reward e-jaze retailers so as to increase flexibility and extension to their network of distributors.
The retailers will earn points based on the total e-jaze airtime sales from the time they joined the program and also if the retailer meets the set standards.
One can register into the e-jaze program by dialing *555# and following the steps which include the inputting the e-jaze loyalty card number end the retailers name, there after a message is received to confirm registration.
Orange is French multinational telecommunications company founded in 1994 with its headquarters in Paris, France with about 226 million customers as of December 2011 and revenue of 46.7 billion euro’s as of year 2010.
