The partnership was entered at the launch of the new Samsung Galaxy S5 in Lagos where Samsung West Africa Director, Mr. Emmanouil Revmatas said the app will give S5 owners with a convenient, safe and fast means of calling a cab.
The Easy Taxi service is simple to use: you simply download the app, and once you’re registered you can request a ride from a nearby licenced driver – you can then track them arriving to pick you up in real-time using the app, so you know that you won’t be waiting to start your journey. You can even save your favourite addresses within the app for frequent rides, and check your ride history.
Easy Taxi offers a fast alternative to the infamous traffic jams in Lagos by enabling users to access a database of drivers throughout the city.
