Ecobank Ghana has opened Ecobank Direct, its first digital and financial services advisory centre at Labone in Accra.
Ecobank Direct, the first of its kind in West Africa, will enable the bank’s tech-savvy customers to benefit from the convenience of real-time digital transactions since its advanced software and hardware give customers control of their banking transactions.
“The launch of Ecobank’s digital branch and financial advisory centre is set to change the landscape of banking in Ghana. It offers customers a unique experience which provides both control of their banking and financial freedom,” said Samuel Ashitey, MD Ecobank Ghana.
The bank’s CEO, Albert Essien, added that the centre demonstrates Ecobank’s ability to stay ahead of the competition in a fast-changing market through customer-centric innovation, which will enable its customers to have direct relationship with the bank which is available every hour of the week.
Vice President Paa Kwesi Bekoe Amissah-Arthur, who was the guest of honour at the event, in a remark, commended Ecobank Ghana for its efforts at taking banking services to new heights in the country and pledged Government’s support for such initiatives.
