Though everyone is saying software is eating the world, it has to run on hardware and Nigeria’s Knack wants to provide Africa with hardware.
The firm has launched Knack Ace 276, a tablet dubbed the people’s Tab.
According to Eyiolawi Gbenga, Founder and CEO, Knack International Limited the firm behind the people’s tablet,”It was designed to be the most affordable quality tablet PC in Africa going into the market at $100 only. Our aim is to allow Africans the opportunity to get a quality luxury Tablet PC at the price of a regular phone.”
Gbenga tells TechMoran Knack is dedicating a percentage of the profit from every unit of Knack Ace 276 sold to girl education in the northern part of Nigeria to support girl education in partnership with a girl-child focused NGO.
