Nigeria’s Globacom is in the verge of signing a $100 million network upgrade contract with an equipment supplier.

The telecommunication company is looking to improve its network quality in light of the ongoing complaints, and follows on from a recent statement by the market leader, MTN that it plans to spend $3 billion over the next three years on network upgrades.
Globacom’s head of operations Bisi Koleosho told local news media that the company has already swapped out the network in Abuja, Osun, Ogun, Oyo, Rivers, Lagos amongst others.
