All voice service users of Vodacom Tanzania will from today have access to the most competitive calling rates in the market on the company’s latest innovation, Zogo.
Speaking in Dar es Salaam, Vodacom Tanzania’s Managing Director Rene Meza said Zogo was launched to serve the needs of customers who want to use the Vodacom network to get the most minutes in Tanzania at the affordable rates.
Meza added that Vodacom is a customer driven organization and that the reason behind Zogo’s development was based on feedback from customers who wanted more voice minutes than the current Cheka Bombastik bundles (which offers customers voice, SMS and data services combined).
He goes on to say that, the existing Cheka Bombastik bundles will remain available to customers who would like to continue enjoying a mix of minutes, SMS and internet services as well as calling across networks.
The Zogo offer is applicable to Vodacom to Vodacom calls only and is very competitive compared to the other Cheka bundles. For, the Tshs 495/- bundle is equivalent to 30 minutes of talk time and is valid for 24 hours. The Tshs 645/- and Tshs 995/- packages give users 45 and 90minutes of talk time respectively, says Meza.
He goes on to say that the Zogo bundles are available to both Prepaid and Hybrid Vodacom customers across the country. Customers just need to dial *149*01# select Cheka Zogo, choose their preferred bundle and enjoy it all day.
