“Nokia X certainly turned heads when it entered the Kenyan market, and it is great to be able to grow the range so quickly. Adding Nokia XL to the range adds a real quality, affordable smartphone to the Microsoft device family. With a beautiful, large screen, front facing camera and flash, the value it brings at the price is sure to win over a lot of admirers,” said Bruce Howe General Manager, East Africa, Microsoft Devices.

It is the largest of the Nokia X family and it looks like Nokia doesn’t want to get rid of its signature tile-based home screen as this phone is proof enough. People are able to personalize the home screen by moving and resizing the tiles or changing the color. It comes with Fastlane, a screen which lets users switch between favorite apps more smoothly.
