The classifieds platform offers buyers and sellers a unique opportunity to effectively reach their target audience. The firm says it serves hundreds of thousands of transactions monthly. The monthly print magazine features popular listings ranging from cars to homes, phones, events and is one fastest growing classifieds magazine in Kenya.

Started in 2013, the magazine’s readership has since grown by 300% with a print run of 30,000 copies per month distributed in all major supermarket chains in Kenya.

According to General Manager at Ringier Kenya, James Gathere,“Pigiame is a hugely popular platform with thousands of users daily, making it a great place to advertise your brand, products or services. We help you reach your perfect audience; after all, Pigiame is everyone’s local noticeboard.”

A recent focus on seller ads has led to more than 30,000 items and services put up for sale on the website in the past 3 months. Both the website and magazine accommodate seller ads in various categories including cars, homes, household items, electronics, fashion, travel packages, job vacancies and dating ads.

Pigiame faces strong competion from Naspers’ OLX.
