Kenya’s events and lifestyle media firm, KenyaBuzz, has launched KenyaBuzz Raha app for Windows Phone to help users know about and actively participate in the rapidly growing Kenya’s social scene.

The Windows Phone App allows users to search events by city and area, date, or type of event including- art exhibitions, festivals/craft fairs, films, kids events, live music events, nightlife, photography, fashion, sports, theater, dance, yoga/meditation, campus events and much more.

According to Managing Director of KenyaBuzz Limited Damaris Agweyu,“The Kenyan social scene is energetic and shows no signs of abating. KenyaBuzz RAHA is positioned to serve the needs of both those seeking to be part of this scene and those in the business of creating it”.

A display of the Kenya Buzz Raha AppThe app also lists movies by type or theater for all movie theaters in Kenya, restaurants by city, area, or cuisine and other fun including bars and nightclubs, sightseeing spots, spas, casinos, recreation activities and other fun and interesting places in Kenya.

“The number of users accessing the internet in Kenya via mobile phones has been increasing exponentially. Looking at the last statics shared by CCK, Kenya has over 13 million users on mobile internet. This presents great demand for local content.
