WorldRemit Partners With Tanzania’s TigoPesa

banner1Online peer to peer money transfer service WorldRemit, headquartered in London, UK. has partnered with TigoPesa to see people sending money to friends and family in Tanzania easily via their computers’, smartphones or tablets.

Aavailable in over 35 countries and able to trasnfer money to more than 100 destinations using a debit or credit card, or bank transfer. Recipients in Tanzania can get their money via bank deposit, mobile wallet, cash pickup/delivery, or airtime top-up for their mobile phone.

Ismail Ahmed, World Remit’s Chief Executive Officer said in a statement: “I am delighted that WorldRemit is now able to offer Tigo Pesa as a way of receiving money in Tanzania. Today people use their money in lots of different ways and financial services need to respond to that.
