Connectnigeria.com, an information portal on just about anything and an advocate for SMEs in Nigeria has announced that voting for the nominated businesses will commence on the 20^th of July and close on the 20^th of October, 2014, in a move to appreciate the contributions of businesses nationwide.

The awards also aim to create greater awareness of underrated and unexposed businesses throughout the country.

ConectedNigeria‘s Best of Business Awards openned nominations on May 15  and have today announced will close the competitions on July 15 to allow as many businesses to be nominated to stand a chance to win awards. Any registered business can be nominated by simply entering in the business’ details on the nomination form here.

The official winners will be awarded at the invite only exclusive awards show. The awards gala date and venue will be disclosed at a later date.

This is not the first time the site is celebrating best businesses. As part of its vision to empower Nigerians with useful information, Connect Nigeria also organized an e-Business Fair in October 2013 which attracted over 2,000 people and was aimed at connecting small business owners with service providers such as banks and ICT firms on how to build and harness modern electronic technologies with their business operations.
