Available in bright orange, bright green, black and white, the Lumia 930 is running on a 2.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor and on Windows Phone 8.1.
It has a 20-megapixel PureView camera with ZEISS lens and optical image stabilisation (OIS) for clear photos and vidoes. We haven’t laid our hands on it yet but the firm says the phone comes in an elegant aluminium frame and a bright polycarbonate back and sculpted glass.
Under the five-inch Corning Gorilla Glass 3 display, the phone has a Full HD (1080p) OLED screen with almost 180 degress viewing angle for great video, photo and games experience running on a 2,420 mAh battery that’ll give you over 8 hours on camera, music or data.
Photo lovers have access to it’s Nokia Camera, Creative Studio, and Storyteller and Instagram. It also comes with four high-performance omni-directional microphones and Rich Recording to clear any noise from your audio recordings and the firm says it’s its first to capture and playback high-quality audio in Dolby Surround Sound.
The phone has Microsoft Office Mobile and access to OneDrive for work and storage, an Action Centre for all of your notifications, Start screen backgrounds for more personalisation, and Cortana –the Lumia’s Siri-like voice personal assistant. It also comes with a new SensorCore a fitbit like sensor to track how many miles you have walked and how many calories you have burned.
