Artfind Wants to be Nigeria’s Largest Marketplace for Artisans

m-pAfter launching on Windows and Android platforms, Nigeria’s Artifind aims to be the biggest marketplace to connect people looking for artisans with a click of the mouse.

With a databse of tailors, barbers, mechanics, hair-dresser, down to vulcanizers and painters, Artifind aims to make it easy to find verified local Artisans on the go. We currently support Web, Android and Windows Phone 8 platforms to get these artisans for your services. We hope to support SMS only phones for further coverage.

Founded in Nigeria by Oyewale Ademola, who is in charge of Marketing and Operations, Femi Aromolaran, head of Research and Perfect Makanju the CTO, Artfind expects to make money through SMS subscription, premium accounts and featured listings for Artisans to maximise their presence on Artifind.

“Artifind connects you with the experience that’s right for you,” the team says. “With people’s recommendations and votes of credibility, the choice is smarter and better guaranteed on Artifind.”
