Wiko Mobile Nigeria Takes Channel Partners to Dubai for Marketing Lessons

WIKO-2Set to launch in Nigeria October 22, Wiko Mobile has taken it’s channel partners to Dubai for vital lessons ahead of it’s launch in the country to launch and take over the marker in style with it’s value proposition of stylish yet affordable products across the spectrum from low-end to high-end.

Speaking to Nigeria Communications Week, Nigeria’s country manager sales Wiko Mobile, Mr. John Peters, the Dubai pre-launch event will see Nigeria channel partners interact with counterparts from other parts of the Wiko from around the world.

The event will instill Wiko’s brand culture, vision and attributes in a move expected to help them garner a significant share of Africa’s mobile phone market from onset. The 12 channel partners from Nigeria will also get to learn the firm’s value proposition, product proposition and also show them the road map.”

Wiko has already launched in Kenya and will be launching in Saudi Arabia, Poland, Vietnam, and Nigeria and expects to tell it’sWiko story to the channel partners so they know where Wiko is coming from, where it’s now, where it aims to go and what it intends to do in each market.

Wiko Mobile launched in Kenya with a portfolio of 10 world-class phones. Wiko’s flagship model, the Highway uses 2.0 GHz Octa-Core technology and runs on  Android KitKat 4.4 and has a super bright 5” FHD screen, 16MP back camera and 8MP front camera. It’s entry in the market though has seen Samsung, Lumia, Tecno and Infinix also up their marketing campaigns to dominate the market.
At the end of the day, the channel partners will have to study and master their local markets than just sit in lectures to learn the Wiko dream.
