CEO Weekends: Kaymu Kenya Targets Mobile Market With New Android App

1794717_299551880239459_8041196595460834063_nRocket Internet’s Kaymu first launched it’s desktop version early September quietly but has this week launched it’s mobile app to double up its mobile marketing efforts.

Kaymu connects buyers and sellers to allow them to take advantage of the best deals on an extensive range of products including electronics, books, fashion items, gadgets and even cars. It’s fixed price system guarantees users to lowest prices on the market.

The Kaymu mobile app is available for download on Android devices from the Google Play Store. According to Aleeda Fazal, the Kaymu Kenya Managing Director, the application, compatible for Android-powered mobile phones and available on Google Play Store, is designed to “make the online shopping experience more convenient and enjoyable.”

“It will offer a wide range of products, fast and intuitive navigation and easier buyer and seller account management,” she said

Like all apps, the firm aims to reach to a huge userbase in the country, especially with the growing Internet adoption. The firm says the app will help shoppers easily find and conveniently enjoy an asortment of products from sellers to list products and buyers to select from a wide variety of products at a glance.
