Beat Traffik Wants to Give Traffic Updates to Motorsits on Any Road in Lagos

It is targeted at car owners and commuters in major population centers in Nigeria with plans to scale up across the rest of Africa.

Beat Traffik says it will help ease the driving experience of its user by enabling them receive real time alerts on traffic congestion or related events (accidents, robbery, security threats etc.) These real time alerts are based on crowd sourced user updates, foot soldiers and Traffic partners in and around their location. These location based events are used to populate an interactive GPS navigation map system with location based adverts and deals also on the map for users to get goods and services around them, in the nearest future the app will enable users pay for traffic offenses.

The idea of Beat Traffik is to ease driving experience by enabling road users to get to their desired destination fast.
