Yet Another Health Information Service Launched to Fight Ebola

As time goes by, more technology solutions are being employed to fight the most deadly virus to date to hit earth. Technology firms have donated or given service to fight the virus spread.

Health eVillages, RFK Center, Physicians Interactive, Healthways, MedHelp, WELVU and MSD Univadis have partnered to share knowledge on deadly disease through digital applications.

The coalition aims to spread necessary information about Ebola and also track its spread, to a world wide audience.

Kerry Kennedy, the President of the RFK Center, said, “In programs in underserved regions around the world, Health eVillages has proven that it can save lives and advance care delivery. With the global nature of the spread of Ebola, health care providers must be able to access this critical information, not only to care for patients, but also to take preventive measures so they don’t acquire the virus as well.  We are proud to play a role in this critical initiative.”
