One Africa Media owned car classifieds site, Cheki has launched in Tanzania in a bid to connect car buyers and sellers easily online in the country; and as well aggregate car related service providers and insurers on one site making it easy for them to be reached.

Cheki’s launch in Tanzania makes raises the firm’s presence to ten countries as the firm is already established in Kenya, Uganda, Nigeria, Ghana, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Rwanda and Malawi.

With over 3000 cars lited already, Cheki aims to take on Rocket Internet’s Carmudi which recently launched in the country to become the biggest car marketplace in the country. The web based platform lists cars, trucks, bikes and was launched at the Auto Fest, Tanzania biggest car event and the firm says its banking on ”our innovative marketing, strong brand, great customer service and quality product” to deliver sales outcomes for sellers and buyers.
