Jumia Launches iOS App to Tap into Apple’s Growing User Base in Africa

jumiaOnline retail store Jumia has launched its iOS App which will cater for all the users holding on to iPhone and iPod Touch. This comes just three weeks after the company launched JUMIA for Windows Phone.

With this mobile application, customers will be able to browse through different product categories, add products to their cart, chose desired payment method, rate and write reviews about products. The app also makes use of geo-location to automatically select user’s country setting.

“We are delighted to release the iOS application, it’s an easy-to-use app, simply download it and enjoy shopping on JUMIA at your convenience.” Parinaz Firozi MD, JUMIA Kenya.

This App comes in fourth in the list after the Android, Windows Phone and Blackberry application and is available in English and French with a complete optimization for the iPhone 5.

JUMIA for iOS is now available on the App Store on iTunes and free to download.
