Airtel Kenya has launched a new SMS subscription service that will enable its customers in Kenya to purchase SMS bundles which they can use to send SMS to any network in Kenya freely.

To use the service, customers will be required to dial *767#, and select the bundle that they prefer. The smallest bundle consists of 6 SMS for only Ksh3 daily and the largest bundle consists of 1500 SMS where a customer will send an SMS at 5 Cents per SMS.

Airtel Kenya CEO Adil El Youssefi in a statement said, “At Airtel, we continuously place our customers experience as a top priority. It is with this reason that   we aim to give our customers throughout Kenya greater freedom by offering them access to affordable superior quality communication and service on our network to make it easy for them to keep in touch with family and friends with ease during this festive season.”
