Bharti Airtel, a leading telecommunications services provider with over 300 million customers and operations in 20 countries across Africa and Asia has  appointed Josee Cremieux and Dick Omondi as the new customer service director and corporate affairs director respectively.

Josee’s appointment is part of the company’s commitment to offering excellent customer experiences. She will be responsible for creating a world class customer care culture and to inspire improved performance driven by customer retention and satisfaction.

Josee joins Airtel Kenya from Airtel Congo Brazzaville where she was the Customer Service Director for 5 years. Josee’s experience at Airtel spans 14 years where she served in various capacities in marketing, customer service and international roaming.

Josee has an MBA from the University of Corte France in Business Administration and Master in International Economics from the University of Brazzaville (Marien Ngouabi).

The company has also announced a merger of its public relations & corporate social responsibility with that of regulatory and legal affairs into a new corporate affairs unit to be led by Dick Omondi who now becomes the corporate affairs director of the telecoms firm.

Dick brings a wealth of experience spanning over 20 years in various reputable organizations across East Africa, 5 of which have been at the helm of Corporate Communications and CSR at Airtel Kenya.

While confirming the appointments, Airtel Kenya CEO Adil El Youssefi stated that the appointments are a true reflection of the company’s commitment to continue providing exceptional customer service experience and innovative communications solutions to Kenyans while enhancing its relations with its external stakeholders including regulators, government, the media and the general public.
