Orange Kenya mobile voice and mobile data services suffered an 8-hour outage yesterday forcing customers to seek alternative services while others took to social media to settle their scores.
After the total outage the firm’s mobile data and voice services are still unstable with some users going offline for more than two hours while others unable to call as the firm says the “disruption of service that occurred yesterday affecting a cross section of services offered on the mobile platform is now resolved.”

According to the firm, “The service disruption was due to a power fluctuation that affected some equipment supporting the network.”
