Airtel To Open More Customer Service Centers In Kenya

Airtel Kenya will be expanding and upgrading its customer service centres countrywide. This initiavtive is under its aggressive customer service improvement plan; the company will set up more new state-of-the-art outlets in various parts of the country while partnering with its key distributors to modernize their Airtel branded outlets and increase convenience of access to service for its customers countrywide.

The company is planning to open 23 more outlets to be located in several major towns including Thika, Embu, Meru, Kericho, Kakamega, Kitale, Malindi and Nanyuki by the end of May 2015, making telecommunication services accessible to Kenyans wherever they are.  

Airtel recently opened 6 new outlets in Nyeri, Kisumu , Mombasa, Eldoret, Greenspan Mall in Donholm and Thika Road Mall (TRM), in Nairobi offering a wide range of products and services and convenience to its customers including Airtel Money cash deposits and withdrawals, Internet access modems, a wide range of mobile phone handsets and data enabled devices at attractive prices.

“Opening new outlets and modernizing the existing ones demonstrates Airtel’s continued commitment to deliver the best in class customer experience and service for its consumers in the convenience of their local towns. Our customers will be able to access a bouquet of innovative high quality products and services besides friendly in a welcoming and customer-friendly atmosphere,” said Airtel Kenya CEO Adil El Youssefi.   

The outlets will also offer end-to-end service support for prepaid and post-paid services including bills payment, Airtel data settings, airtime purchases and sim card replacements for Airtel customers.     

All Airtel shops open from 8am to 6pm during week days and as from 8am to 1pm on Saturday, whilst Airtel shops found in malls are open on Sundays from 9am.
