hellofoodRocket Internet-backed hellofood, today revealed a newly redesigned site aimed at providing a seamless user experience, showcasing its vast network of restaurants in an immersive and visual way. Key features of the website include a cleaner and more attractive design, a more engaging user-experience with enhanced search and navigation.

In a statement to TechMoran, Joe Falter, founder and CEO hellofood Africa said: “Our brand new website marks another massive product milestone for hellofood, and takes us one step further towards our goal of offering amazing variety and seamless meal ordering, with customer experience at the core”.

The firm added that the new website was created with the user experience firmly in mind with a simplified look and an improved search functionality, with a mobile-first focus.

“We are living through a tech and mobile revolution in Africa. Smartphones are the primary device and fit with our strategy of offering food delivery of any cuisine, with any price point, to any customer in each city,” Falter added.

Hellofood, launched in most African countries has had to struggle with logistics and the local food culture from traditional in-restaurant orders to online food ordering and delivery. The site is also helping the growing African middle class balance their time and money at home and at the work-palce by allowing them to simply order food online instead of leaving work to cook.
