Ghana’s Hwehwe.com.gh has launched in what it calls a move to explore potential markets for individuals and businesses to trade various kinds of products and daily services.
According to Hwehwe Marketplace Group’s Senior Solutions Manager, Mr. Daniel Dadzie:“Though we entered the market later than others, we took different approaches to catch up by focusing on safety trade, quality items, as well as quality partners. Hwehwe.com.gh entry into this market is good because it pushes everyone to innovate and, therefore, provide better product quality.”
The new classifieds site will be a direct competition to Naspers’backed OLX which is not as popular and as visted in Ghana as in other countries its present.
Launched by Hwehwe Marketplace Group, Hwehwe.com.gh aims to be a total solution to sellers selling just about anything in the country from jobs, cars, properties, movers, real estate, services such as manicure and massage as well as B2B services.
Hwehwe.com.gh is targeting to sign up 20,000 sellers and over 300,000 items on its site in the next 6 months. The firm is at the moment signing agreements with partners and vendors such as car dealerships, car spare part sellers and service providers, property agents and developers, retailers among others to sign up and utilize the site’s services.
