Payments technology firm Ingenico Group with its local partner Tracom in partnership with Equity Bank have launched a cashless revenue colelction app for collecting County fees such as parking, land rates, business permits, market stall fees.
The solution aims to help end the long queues, Nyeri residents undergo to pay the County fees. County agents have also been equipped with Ingenico wireless smart terminals with a specific Revenue Collection application, can now simply collect payments when arriving at the business premises.
Nyeri County has a population of 661,156 and an area of 3,356 km. This will help reduce the human traffic and colelction centres and improve service delivery for all.
