Samsung Electronics East Africa Ltd., has launched its new range of smaller and eco-friendly air conditioners to increase energy efficiency, reduce space consumption and bring eco-friendly products in the market to increase its market share in the home, office and living sectors.
The firm’s new single unit air conditioners and chillers are becoming more popular than the old-style units which were too expensive and bulky to install.
Samsung E.A Ltd vice president and Managing Director Mr. Hyung Jung Park said, ” Samsung is continuously innovating to meet the property market demands by offering unique cooling experiences, resource conservation and efficient recourse allocation with our new range of Air conditioners and Chillers.”
The new range of the firm’s smart products, include the 360 Cassette air conditioning unit, DVM Chiller, next generation DVM S 30HP, and new side discharge VRF unit – the DVM S Eco 14HP.
The president of the Architects Association of Kenya AAK Mr. Waweru Gathecha applauded the move saying smaller, economic, efficient compatible air conditioners and chillers are a specific area of interest to architects and engineers for elegant architecture and design of living spaces and value for the customers.
He added that the focus has been on releasing space for other purposes in the building by omitting plant rooms and integrating air conditioners and chillers that are better elevated, nicely concealed and of a greater effect aesthetically.
Together, these innovations in HVAC engineering will transform air conditioning by boosting energy efficiency and performance, maximizing space, and increasing cooling speed.
