Last month we laid our hands on the TECNO Droipad 8II which is set to launch this Friday the 13th and we are going to tear it down for a review before you go to the shops to buy it. However, let’s do the unboxing.
It comes in a white hardened box with logo on the top left and the brand name at the bottom. On the sides of the box is the brand name while on the top and bottom sides is the TECNO brand logo. There is a design of pad on the top cover of the packaging while below its specifications. The packaging is rather impressive and TECNO did a good job on this.
Inside the box is the Droipad 8II, a USB cable, power adapter, two chargers, an OTG cable, a user manual and a 12 plus 1 month warranty card. The pad is champion gold at the back and white on the front face.
The front face has an 8.0 display screen with a slim bezel on both the right and left side. The bottom bezel is neatly clean with o icons. We have switched the device on yet. The top bezel is of the same size as the bottom one but the only difference it has receiver in the middle, a front flash on the left next to a light sensor and a front camera at the far right end.
The back side of the tap has a metallic body, a TECNO logo near the middle. There is a rear camera and a rear flash at the top left edge. The back left edge is squeaky clean. The top edge has an earphone plug near the left corner. The right edge has a power button at the top, a volume rocker and a Dual SIM card and SD Card slot. The pad takes a Micro and standard SIM. The bottom edge has a USB/ charging port in the middle of two speakers, and a microphone at the far right.
That’s what we know so far. Yes, you can make calls, connect to WiFi and take photos. Everything else will come in our intense review in two days.
